Street Cleansing Operative

North West Leicestershire District Council is a busy council, working across our communities to help people and businesses thrive. We're looking for a Street Cleansing Operative to join our busy Waste Services Team.

About the role: Your core responsibilities will include sweeper driving, litter picking, fly tip clearance, litter bin emptying and graffiti removal (and assisting the Refuse Teams with waste and recycling collections on occasion).

This role will involve occasional weekend working. Our ideal candidate The person in this role must be hardworking and flexible, willing to go the extra mile for your managers and customers.

You will also have a valid and full UK driving licence.

• 37 hrs per week with an annual salary of £26,113 - £27,833

• 252 hours of holiday per year (including bank holidays) increasing to 282 hours after 5 years
