As a Supply Chain Manager, you will lead and manage our small supply team to ensure a steady flow of production materials to the business. You will also implement our new Sage 200 system and transfer our ERP/MRP from our old software system onto Sage 200.

To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

• Handle general management and organisation of the company's buying activities and team
• Participate in buying parts and components for the company's production against schedules
• Manage the internal processes involved in buying, works order processing, tracking and ultimately releasing manufactured goods from the MRP system
• Performing stock management and parts booking-in/out onto our MRP systems.

To apply for this Supply Chain Lead role, you will need a thorough understanding of MRP/ERP systems and the process workflows used to manufacture engineered goods. Sage 200 experience and training would be essential. You will also require the following:

• Understanding of stock systems
• Understanding of work order processing and low-volume, high-value manufacturing
• IT skills
• Experience managing a small team of buying/planning personnel (envisaged to be two people).
