You'll carry out a rangeof planned preventative maintenance to our sites' equipment to makesure it's working safely. As an RME Technician, you'll also respondpromptly to breakdowns, investigating, finding, and implementingsolutions as quickly as possible. You'll also make suggestions forlong-term improvements. Working alongside seniorcolleagues, you'll undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks likepainting and plumbing and will liaise with contractors if you needexternal expertise. You'll work on a range of shifts to make sureour sites are supported around the clock - allowing Amazon todeliver at the speed we're known for. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Serveda full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to aminimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineeringsubject (City & Guilds Level 3, SVQ/IVQ) - Relevantexperience as a qualified engineer - Relevant experienceworking in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance -Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS Preferred qualifications are not requiredto apply for a position at Amazon.
