Reliability Engineer required for this leading manufacturer based in Leicestershire. This is a permanent, full time day shift role and offers excellent career development, supported by a salary range of £45k-£50k. This role is best suited to an engineer who can evidence 3-5 years current reliability engineering experience. Ideally Educated to Degree Level electrical engineering, computer science engineering and/or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager and key stakeholders you will be responsible for performing a range of strategic tasks that ensure that the site, plant and automated operations are carried out efficiently and effectively. You will identify and manage all risks that may cause operational safety issues and/or drive equipment performance. Working closely with maintenance engineers you will develop analysis methods collected from data and operational facts, providing insights from all analysis to develop a strategy for the effective scheduling of maintenance activities. Responsible for ensuring that the plant maximises production output without sacrificing the quality of products, Health and Safety and machinery operations safety.

As the Reliability Engineer you will have full accountability for managing equipment and monitoring for risks during its entire life cycle, developing FMEA processes for new or existing equipment and plan the required testing and performance evaluations to assess potential risks to production and safety with the equipment. Working closely with the site Health and Safety Team, you will investigate and understand any near misses building in additional safety methods in line with H&S regulations and site manufacturing procedures. You will provide solutions to recurring failures by performing tests and identifying corrective actions, performing statistical data analysis to predict and minimise manufacturing downtime.

Responsible for lead investigation of root-cause for repetitive damage and failure rates, participating in annual and long-term reliability and capital planning, providing technical support of supervisors and engineers as required. You will support the creation and delivery of operational objectives, facilities services, programs, and contracts for applicable facilities, developing and executing root cause failure analysis, corrective and preventive actions. You will promote continuous improvement in employee engagement and satisfaction, through the utilization and monitoring of IMPACT surveys, developing and presenting RAM assessments and lessons learned as required. Your experience will include either MATLAB knowledge of similar.
