Job Title: Home Improvement Chargehand / Supervisor Job Advert We are seeking a proactive and experienced individual to join our Home Improvement Team. This role involves overseeing component replacement works across our housing stock, including kitchens, bathrooms, electrical rewires, roofing, doors, and windows. You will be part of a high-performing, busy team and must be capable of working independently, demonstrating initiative and professionalism. This position is suitable for candidates with a strong trade background and a minimum of 12 months of supervisory experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, as the role requires regular updates to project trackers and progress reporting. Essential Criteria • Minimum 1 year of experience supervising a team of operatives • Proven trade background, ideally within the social housing sector • Experience working in tenant-facing or customer-focused environments • Ability to deliver works to required standards in line with current regulations and manufacturer specifications • Strong time management and ability to meet project deadlines • Effective communication and coordination with the Asset Management Support Team to ensure scheduling efficiency • Appropriate and safe use of all tools and equipment provided • Full compliance with all Health and Safety procedures • Full UK driving licence and access to own transport • Two references required, including one from the most recent employer • See separate Job Pack for full details
