Job Opportunity - Finance Business Partner (Local Authority)
Location: LE67 4JP (Hybrid working)Start date: ASAPContract duration: 3+ monthsWorking hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, 36.25 hours per weekPay rate: 20.22 per hour
About the Role: The successful candidate will work within the service team to assess and optimise finance processes, collaborating closely with existing staff and external contractors to implement best practices and sustainable changes.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience of budget preparation and monitoring.
- Experience of reviewing processes and implementing changes.
- Solid understanding of statutory accounting and Housing Revenue Accounts.
- Proven experience in local government finance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and influence others.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and integrated financial systems, with the ability to interpret financial and performance data.
