Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk? Do you consider yourself to be systematic with the ability to identify improvements to implement positive change? Are you based in or around Coalville?

We have a Business Process Manager role available within Aggregate Industries. This role is ideal for someone with an extensive Purchase Ledger background and experience implementing change to processes.

Role: Business Process Manager (Purchase Ledger)

Location: Aggregate Industries, Bardon Hill, Coalville LE67 1TD

Rate: 40-45k pro rata (based upon experience)

Contract length: 3 months initially with the opportunity for a permanent position

Shift Patterns: Mon-Fri, 09:30-14:30, 22.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying areas for improvement within the invoicing process
  • Implementing new processes to streamline invoicing processes
  • Maximising the financial and process performance of the department
  • Ensuring financial compliance at all times
  • Providing forecasts for the department as required
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to understand room for improvement and where processes can be enhanced
  • Training and developing team members on any new processes implemented
  • Supporting the departments Administrator
  • Promoting continued process improvement
  • Working to agreed service level agreements

Essential requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience within an accounts receivable, billing, purchase ledger role
  • Proven ability to improve invoicing processes and experience having done this successfully
  • Good understanding of the issues that arise from limited data
  • Comfortability raising and resolving issues across departments
  • Sound IT literacy skills especially with MS Excel
  • Ability to promote change and deliver process change in a positive and informative manner
