To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Marketing Communications Manager to come and join the team at our Leicester office (LE67 6HS).

As our Marketing Communications Manager, you will:

• Be the Marketing owner for our Infrastructure and large precast specialist business • Work with Commercial contacts, Marketing Channel Leads and owners for other products to establish a clear comms plan - enhancing Ibstock's brand with Infrastructure and Flooring customers• Play a key role in the successful delivery of Ibstock attendance at industry trade shows and exhibitions - including supporting with stand design, commercial team briefings, lead capture and follow up/other standard exhibition administration• Establish an efficient process for commercial teams to self-serve for smaller trade days and exhibitions - including creation of a standard kit of items, process for ordering items, register of what kit is where and expected return date etc.• Work with Group Specification & Futures Marketing Channel Lead to develop and deliver planned events and activities at our I-Studio (Central London location)• Maximise pre & post-event marketing opportunities both internally and externally• Work with Channel Marketing Leads and Sales Directors to review incoming tactical marketing activity requests and agree approval or rejection, ensuring any declined requests are communicated back to initiator to close the loop• Liaise with relevant marketing owner to ensure delivery of approved tactical marketing requests within agreed timescale and budget parameters. • Ensure delivery of any tactical marketing requests aligned to this job role are delivered in time and on budget.

In order to be successful as our Marketing Communications Manager, we would ideally like you to be/have:

• Demonstrable experience in marketing, ideally within B2B environment• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and measurement• Proven ability to manage a large workload and focused on delivering the plan• Analytical - comfortable with numbers and interpreting data/metrics• Creative• Knowledge and understanding of insight gathering• Experience of budget management

Knowledge of the UK construction industry/routes to maker and/or a professional Marketing qualification (i.e. CIM) would be advantageous in this role, but not essential.
