Job Title: MIG Welder

Location: Leicester

Salary: Up to 14- 16 hr

Shift: 4pm to 2 am Mon to Thu

Must be able to drive due to location

The Role

We currently have a position for a MIG Welder for a company based in Leicester. The role requires someone to be able to MIG weld to a high quality and to work at speed ensuring targets are met. You will be able to work to high/tight tolerances and have experience working with mild steel.

The Candidate

For this position the correct candidate will:

1+ years' experience as a WelderRead blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and proceduresDetermine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirementsSet up components for welding according to specifications knowledge of using measuring equipment to quality check work.Fettling and grinding sheet metal work.Quality check finished products.Record and report any issues.Manual handling of different tools to complete the job to the highest standards set.
