Control Systems Engineer Brand new state of the art fully automated facility Coalville Monday to Friday days £50,000 to £55,000 dependant on experience Private health & life assurance The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is excited to introduce this opportunity to be part of a brand-new distribution facility for one of Europe's leading specialist within the industry. You will be part of the initial projects team as the site is populated and will support the site going live.Th is is a rare chance to be part of a new facility from day one and develop as a lead engineer on the site.

Scope of the role;

- Initial testing and troubleshooting on automated warehousing systems to ensure the site is ready to 'go live' - Support the rest of the team with controls issues - Respond to system issues by interrogating PLC's and running diagnostics - Carry out parameter changes & modifications to PLC's - Project work and commissioning of new systems - Take on supervisory responsibilities within the team - Carry out and support with any necessary maintenance across the automated systems Ideal candidate will be;

- Ideally qualified within automation / controls engineering, with level 3 electrical qualifications as a minimum - Well versed interrogating and carrying out modifications to PLC systems, with Siemens experience highly advantageous - Competent at carrying out small programming projects - Experienced in automated material handling environments such as distribution, food & FMCG - Adaptable and will respond to maintenance issues across the automated system
