Leicestershire County Council is seeking an experienced Part-Time Team Manager to join their Duty and Assessment team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic leader with a proven track record in busy duty and assessment environments and court work during the initial stages.

Key Details:

• Part-Time Schedule: Work alongside another Part-Time Manager. Available options are Monday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Friday.

• Office Attendance: Expected in the office one week out of every five and once a week for duty. Additional presence as required to meet team management responsibilities.

• Duration: Initial contract for 3 months with a review for potential extension.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a small, dedicated team within the Duty and Assessment framework.

• Lead and support team members in handling complex cases, ensuring high-quality assessments and timely interventions.

• Engage in court work and related proceedings during the initial stages of cases.

• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of services.

Requirements:

• Current registration with Social Work England (SWE).

• Proven management experience within a Duty and Assessment team.

• Strong background in handling court work and related procedures.
