Technical Manager

Full Time / Hybrid Working 3 Days office & 2 days WFH

Location: Coalville

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm

18 Month fixed term contract!

Basic Salary: £36,000.00 to £42,000.00 Per Annum PLUS Bonus (£48,250.00 OTE)

An opportunity has risen for a technical specialist to join a FANTASTIC BRAND AND GROUP within the construction industry as a Technical Manager & support a small team of 4 cad designers and Operations Director as a Technical Manager on a 18 Month Fixed Term contract.

As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the Technical team are achieving their own objectives in line with clear guidelines.
• Control budgets assigned to the Technical department as being the Technical Manager
• Ensure tasks are processed in line with deadlines for manufacture and SLA s
• Manage the R&D of new products, the design and creation of manufacturing drawings and BOM
• Manage projects providing progress reports to the Operations Director as the Technical Manager
• Other ad hoc related tasks as required as the Technical Manager

As a Technical Manager, you will have:

• Proven experience as Technical Manager within a Manufacturing OR Engineering background
• Experience in using ERP and/or Business Central
• Performance and results driven
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience of using sage would be highly advantageous
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic approach when dealing with colleagues.
