Description

We are working with a company specialising in new build housing developments, who are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team and oversee the construction of a new project from the ground up. This is a PERM role.

As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for:

Managing the development to maintain and deliver the build programme in accordance with budgets and forecasts Full responsibility and control of all site staff and sub-contractors, including labourers, groundworkers, and contractors, ensuring that all employees comply with their Health and Safety standards Liaising with management, client, and local authority departments to ensure smooth project delivery Timely ordering of materials to ensure the build programme can be achieved Ensuring all NHBC inspections are carried out as required Conducting handover inspections of properties to customers in accordance with our customer care procedures Completing any customer care defects raised as soon as practicably possible Actively promoting a culture of safety, progress, quality, and innovation on site

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager working on high-volume new build housing developments Extensive knowledge and experience of managing labour-only groundworkers/contractors Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience with site management software and Microsoft Office applications Valid CSCS card and NEBOSH certificate or equivalent
