This role is needed for a 6 month period to help with the transition of the validation of planning applications from the Planning Officers in the team to our new Planning Technicians. - To validate planning applications of all types and sizes for the planning team.- To review our current processes and procedures and use your expertise and knowledge from elsewhere to make recommendations on how to improve and streamline our processes and procedures.- To spend time training out two new Planning Technicians on how to validate planning applications. - There will be an office presence of 3 days of the week with this role to train our new Planning Technicians.
