Senior Enforcement Officer Location: Stenson Road, LE67 4JP Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 2+ months Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09 00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £ 33.00 per hour Job Ref: (phone number removed) Job Responsibilities

• Address planning control breaches and monitor conditions.

• Inspect sites to ensure compliance with laws.

• Investigate reported legal breaches.

• Prepare reports, formal notices, and update records.

• Take enforcement actions when needed.

• Represent the Council in appeals, inquiries, and court.

• Provide advice and respond to service requests.

• Supervise the planning enforcement team.

• Support S106 monitoring and compliance.

• Assist the Environmental Protection Team when required.

• Ensure health and safety standards are met.

• Promote equality and diversity in service and employment.

• Participate in training and development.

• Help during civil emergencies as instructed.

Person Specifications Must Have:

• Eligibility to work in the UK.

• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Experience in enforcement or planning applications.

• Knowledge of enforcement and planning legislation.

• Experience in inspections, investigations, and enforcement actions.

• Report writing skills.
